Alicia and Derek have been such a dream to work with for their Huguenot Loft wedding! First of all, they make a ridiculously gorgeous couple, obviously! When you have a passion to match, that makes the wedding so much better. They celebrated with family and friends who traveled in from far and wide.

What I’ll remember most from this day is their ceremony. With handwritten vows, special readings, and a tearjerker sermon from their close friend, there was not a dry eye in the house…including mine! There was a lot of sniffling and even the groomsmen were wiping away tears! But there were also jokes about football rivalries that lightened the mood and perfectly balanced it out.

Alicia and Derek, thank you so much for inviting me into your lives. It has been such a pleasure getting to know you and capturing the start of your love story. Enjoy looking through some of my favorites from their Huguenot Loft wedding!

Daddy/Daugher First Looks are kind of my new favorite thing…all the tears!! I am obsessed with the sea glass color palette of this wedding! So beautiful and classic, yet different from what I’m used to seeing. Isn’t she STUNNING?! Alicia did an amazing job designing their wedding day. I particularly loved this escort card display with the ombre watercolor swatches.  While guests enjoyed their plated dinner inside, I snuck the bride and groom outside for a few more portraits. The light was so beautiful at this time! I love Derek’s reaction to Alicia’s Patriots garter!
