Carrie & Symon: Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek Wedding

Filed in: Weddings

Carrie and Symon are two of the kindest people I have had the pleasure to work with! Their Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek wedding reminded me so much of my own too. We both had an outdoor wedding in November, and everything was created with their help of family and friends. They even took it a step further and made their own food! Yep, Carrie and her family cooked all day before the wedding to feed her guests. That’s DIY dedication!

They also chose to not have any wedding party, something Bradley and I also did. It made the day 100% about them, and everything was a lot less stressful too. After their precious First Look, we were able to take SO many portraits with the beautiful fall colors. It was truly the perfect day.

Carrie and Symon, thank you for trusting me with your wedding memories. I have loved getting to know you both and capture this journey for you! Enjoy some of my favorites from this Viewpoint at Buckhorn Creek wedding.  I think Symon should be the spokesperson for First Looks. He was SO excited and anxious, and then when he turned around to see his bride ALL those emotions came out. Pure joy…THIS is the type of reaction that brides expect their groom to have at the altar when they skip a First Look, but ladies, the men want to be stoic in front of the guests. When we are in private and it’s just the 3 of us, they are much more likely to show their feelings like this.

Carrie and Symon also decided to share their personal vows to each other during their First Look. I LOVED this idea and how they kept this a private moment for just the two of them. Smiling through tears is so beautiful! THAT VIEW! Definitely one of my favorites from their day!
One of my favorite sparkler exit photos! They are both SO happy!!
