Leslie and Derek’s city and country engagement session is one I’ve looked forward to for MONTHS! That’s because when I met with Leslie earlier this year, she and Derek weren’t even engaged yet. That’s right, they were planning the wedding and booking vendors even before the proposal. BUT this is not that uncommon these days! I’ve actually had several couples book before *the* question was actually asked. It’s just another way modern couples are moving!

We chose to split up their engagement session to include downtown Greenville, as well as their home place in Fountain Inn. This city and country engagement session was so much fun and definitely showed the different sides of their personality. We had the best time laughing and getting to know each other, and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding this December. Enjoy some of my favorites!

Then we headed over to the piece of land in the country that these two plan to build their home on. What a special (and beautiful!!) place to have their engagement photos taken!      

And a tree swing!? Be still my heart.
