Kellie & Daniel: Wedding at Greenbrier Farms

Filed in: Weddings

Kellie and Daniel had to have been the MOST chill bride and groom ever. They were having an outdoor ceremony at Greenbrier Farms, so I was checking the weather like a crazy person, scanning the radars, and repeatedly updating the hourly forecast. However, the chance of rain didn’t seem to phase these two at all. Thankfully, it turned out that we didn’t have any rain at all; in fact, it was hot…unseasonably hot. But once again, these two endured the heat, kept on smiling, and we made some of the prettiest portraits after their First Look. Kellie and Daniel, if you can approach your marriage the way you handled your wedding day, then I’d say you’ll have a very happy life together! Thank you both for letting me share this day with you, and I hope you enjoy reliving these special moments!

Kellie’s dad gave her the necklace she wore on her wedding day, so it was appropriate that he be the one to put it on her. It was so special having her mom, sister, and father all helping her become a bride that day. Many of Kellie’s bridesmaids had not yet seen her in the dress, so we set up a surprise reveal once Kellie was a bride.
Poor Daniel had to wait for us in the heat…he said he was about to melt! It seriously felt more like July than April! As the rest of the wedding party made their way to the ceremony, I had a brief moment with Kellie and her Dad. Kellie’s sister said she had only seen her Dad cry once in her life, but then I asked him to look at his little girl one last time before she became a wife. That’s when the tears started. Kellie’s Dad was also officiating the wedding and got choked up several times through the service. He later said during his speech, that the walk he had down the aisle with Kellie was the proudest moment of his life. That’s when MY tears started!!We had some dark overcast skies during First Dances, but right when I took them outside for a few last portraits, the sun peeked through the clouds and gave us the most beautiful light.
