Lacy & Kyle: Wedding at Pawley’s Plantation, Pawley’s Island SC

Filed in: Weddings

I think I may have been as excited for this wedding as the bride and groom were! I fell in love with this couple at their engagement session and could not wait to get the in front of my camera again. Not only are they ridiculously beautiful, but they have the warmest hearts. Their wedding day was sure to be a day filled to the brim with love.

Lacy and I spoke about our worries with the weather since the hurricanes had just passed through the week before, but with faith and a lot of prayers, their wedding day was just what they hoped for. Their family and friends all gathered on the back lawn of Pawley’s Plantation to witness their vows, and all of Lacy’s perfectly planned details came together just as expected.

Just a fair warning, this is a photo heavy post, y’all! There were SO many details, special moments, and gorgeous portraits! I hope you enjoy living this special day through these photographs and that you can feel the sweetness that is Lacy and Kyle’s love.
Lacy’s father had not seen her as a bride yet, so we let them have a moment together before the ceremony got started. They each wrote letters to one another, which was so sweet. I’ve never seen a father do that; you can see how proud he is of his baby girl! Love this idea! These girls have stood by each other’s sides through several weddings, and they have gotten the same tunnel photo each time.  Favorite!
