Sarah and Alex both went to Wake Forest, but never met while in this small school. It wasn’t until they were both living in New York City, a huge departure from Wake Forest, that these two connected at a Cinco de Mayo party. Isn’t it crazy how life brings our fates together?!

Four and a half years of dating later on a particularly warm November day last year, Sarah and Alex were having a standard Sunday brunch in Manhattan. They followed it by walking around Central Park. Sarah had found a quiet spot for them to sit and enjoy the fall leaves. When she turned around, Alex was down on one knee. To her surprise, he had the ring loose in his pocket all morning!! She said it was the perfect proposal and she said yes right away!

Since these two live in New York, we waited until their trip down south for Christmas to do their engagement session. We talked about our love of Falls Park and watching Greenville grow. I learned about their amazing travels, and now they’ve got me itching to go to Austria! Sarah is a self-confessed bookworm and works in publishing.  So, we were even able to walk up to the bookstore M.Hudson and use it for their session.

Sarah and Alex, I had such a great time getting to know you and appreciate how you braved the chilly weather for the session. I can’t wait to see you both again in April!
