When I arrived at the Huguenot Loft for Sarah and Austin’s wedding, she had arranged a box with ALL of her details in it. She was definitely a well-read JSP bride! I love that she included her perfume, their Clemson rings (of course!), and their adorable coffee favors too. I had ample time for styling her details and had so much fun with them. A tip for my future brides: if you want beautiful shots like this to help tell the story of your day in your heirloom album, make sure we allow for room for this in the timeline!
Not only did she think of everything for her details, but she planned her wedding so beautifully. From the handsewn pillows in the lounge area to the custom welcome painting, Sarah did it all. She is obviously one talented lady! She gets it honest from her Momma though, who sewed the dress she wore that day. Yes, that beautiful blue dress she’s wearing was handmade. I was in shock too! It was stunning.
Austin and Sarah are moving out to Colorado, but I feel so blessed to have met them and captured the start of their lives together as husband and wife. To the newlywed bride and groom, THANK YOU! I hope you enjoy a lot of my favorites from their day. Sarah had a First Look with her Dad before walking down to see Austin. It was so sweet to see her go from seeing the first man she ever loved to the man she would love forever. Since Austin and Sarah had a First Look and we got all of their portraits done before the ceremony, they were free during their cocktail hour. I didn’t find them mingling with guests yet though; they were downstairs practicing their first dance. I had to sneak on them and grab a few photos of this sweet private moment. These pick-up photos are becoming one of my signature wedding day shots and I LOVE them! What bride doesn’t want to be swept off her feet like this?
