Brittany and James had the most beautifully magical wedding day. With help in planning from her amazing mother, Brittany’s wedding dreams came to life. The girls were all getting ready in the Presidential Suite at the Poinsett Hotel. When I walked in, I literally gasped when I saw her Hayley Paige dress hanging on the door. It was SO Brittany: the blush color perfectly complemented her porcelain skin tone and the fun sparkly design matched her style.

From there, I was blown away with every turn. The handkerchiefs made for the bride and groom from their mothers’ wedding gowns, the themed welcome gifts, the pin James mother gave him to wear inside his suit jacket, the jaw-dropping reception florals by Greg Foster, and tearful toast by Brittany’s daddy. Start to finish, it was a joy to photograph and be a part of.

Brittany and James, thank you for trusting me to capture these moments for you! Take a look through all of my favorites from this special wedding day at Avenue in downtown Greenville. Right before their First Look, I explained to Brittany how it would work. She would slowly walk up to him and when I gave her the cue, she could call his name or tap him on the shoulder to turn around. Well right when we walked out onto the terrace where James stood she yelled “hey!”. James almost turned around before I said “woah, woah, woah!”

We all laughed that she was so excited to see him and must have forgotten that she needed the cue! The Rock Quarry gardens are right around the corner from Avenue. We all headed over there for some wedding party photos before traveling on to the church. Krispy Kreme favors?! Yes, you better believe I went home with a box or two!!
