Last fall’s wedding season was a bit more rainy than usual. This means I always had to be thinking four steps ahead in terms of backup locations to shoot, timing, openings throughout the day without rain, etc. Then, when I saw how much rain was expected for Catie and Andrew’s wedding day, it didn’t look good. But Catie is always smiling, always happy, and I knew that she wouldn’t care about the rain one bit. Some brides would be crushed to have a rainy wedding, but not her! I was right…she embraced the day as it happened and we rolled with it. We even lucked out with two brief intervals without rain to get some outdoor portraits in!

Catie and Andrew, THANK YOU for your trust with me, your patience that day, and your easy-going style. All together, it made your day so enjoyable and I hope you’ll always remember it that way too. Enjoy some of my favorites from their AC Hotel wedding day!
