Melanie and Jeff were my last rescheduled wedding from all the Covid moves. It’s crazy to think that our first contact with each other was in 2019! They had to wait another year for this special day, but that didn’t matter too much to them. See, they had already waited 27 years for this day! You read that right, Melanie and Jeff have been together almost three decades. They said life just happened and they never took the time to plan a wedding. They were working on building businesses and a home where she initially thought they would get married. But after their annual trip to Biltmore, they decided to keep things more intimate and incorporate the place that means so much to them.

Young love is sweet and has a lot of hope for the future, but observing Melanie and Jeff and photographing their love was a different kind of special. They were so wrapped up in the moments of the day and I caught them constantly telling one another how much they were adored. They have been together for many years and are obviously still very much in love. It was so moving to be a part of their day!

Melanie and Jeff, you waited a long time for your Biltmore ceremony and I thank you for letting me capture it for you. Enjoy some of my favorites from this wedding day, 27 years in the making!
