Caitlin and Jonathan met during their first semester at Georgia Tech. After college, Caitlin called him on a whim to see if he was still in Atlanta. He was, so they met for Thai food to catch up. She said she didn’t realize she had wanted it to be a date until it was over, but lucky for her, another real date followed soon after!

We met at Lake Conestee Park to photograph their engagement portraits. Surprisingly, I had never been to this park before! BUT I know I will definitely be going back. I loved the winding pathways and bridges, and all the lush greenery.

Even just being around them for the short amount of time for our session together, I can tell that Caitlin and Jonathan have a special love. By the time these two get to their wedding day, they will have known each other for 10 years! They are so comfortable with one another and they acted like I wasn’t even there with my camera! It truly was a joy talking to them about their work, travels, and what they want for their future.
