Caroline and William met in high school with a group of mutual friends. When I asked Caroline about her and William’s first date she said, “I invited him to come to a shagging party with my parent’s friends. I thought he would be hesitant to come to a party with all 50 year olds, but he gladly came! He danced with all of my mom’s girl friends, and they instantly approved! We still have pictures from this night that I love to look at and remember all of the butterflies of bringing him around for the first time. I thought he was the cutest, funniest, most charming guy I had ever laid eyes on!”
Caroline described them as being opposites since she’s more city style and William is a good ol’ country boy. But opposites obviously attract for them, and these two have been together ever since that first date in high school!
On the day of their session, we had thunderstorms on the forecast. As I drove to Anderson, I made my way through a bad storm and was thinking to myself…WHAT are gonna do?! I texted Caroline and, this always positive girl said, let’s give it a shot. So, we both said a prayer and sure enough, our prayers were answered!! We didn’t get a single drop or dark cloud to pass our way! We had beautiful glowy skies, perfect weather, and William, a self-confessed hater of taking photos, even had a little fun. ;)
I love, love, love this couple, and I am so excited to come back to Huitt Farms for their wedding in July! Until then, enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session.
