There’s something uniquely special about autumn weddings—the crisp air, the golden leaves, and the warmth of love celebrated among family and friends. Erin and Crawford’s October wedding at Furman’s Daniel Chapel and the Huguenot Mill in downtown Greenville hit all the marks!
The day began with the sweetest moment: the bride and groom’s intimate first look. They exchanged personal vows—just the two of them—before the day unfolded. Their heartfelt words set the tone for what was to come. Afterwards, we were joined by their wedding party for portraits. With all the photos completed before the ceremony, the couple could fully savor the rest of their day without interruption.
As they stood together during the ceremony inside the chapel, a rainstorm unexpectedly swept through. But as if on cue, the skies cleared just as the newlyweds walked back down the aisle, hand in hand, ready to embrace their new journey. Then, something magical happened. While we were taking family photos, guests called us outside. There, arching high above the chapel, was the biggest and brightest rainbow I’ve ever seen—a breathtaking symbol of hope and joy, perfectly timed to celebrate their union.
The festivites continued at Huguenot Mill, where Ashleigh Craft worked her magic to design an elegant and inviting reception. Guests dined on delicious cuisine, raised their glasses to heartfelt toasts, and danced the night away under the warm glow of the Mill’s historic charm.
From the intimate vows to the unexpected rainbow and the joyous reception, this wedding was a true testament to the beauty of love and the surprises it brings. What a privilege it was to capture these memories for Erin and Crawford! Enjoy some of my favorites from their day.
