Summer weddings can be a challenge with the heat, but Laura and Lorin’s wedding day in June felt more like a lovely April afternoon. The cool breeze and manageable temperature made everything feel just right.
Laura got ready at the beautiful Cherrydale House on campus, where she and Lorin shared an emotional first look. The ceremony took place at the stunning Daniel Chapel, followed by a reception full of dancing and joy at the Huguenot Loft.
One of the highlights was the girls’ tradition of dancing to “Proud Mary” at the reception, something that has been done at every family wedding. Everyone got in on the fun and it brought so much energy to the night—it was impossible not to smile. My cheeks are still sore from all the joy this day brought!
I loved working with this lovely couple and hope you enjoy taking a peek through their day!
