We have been trying to have Katherine and Sam’s downtown Greenville engagement session for MONTHS. Our original date was rained out, and then COVID-19 picked up speed so we had to postpone. We finally had a set date and they were going to come up from Atlanta to have their portraits made, rain or shine. Thankfully, they opted to stay the night instead of driving back to Atlanta afterwards, because we ended up splitting their session. Dark storm clouds rolled in that evening, and I knew we didn’t have enough light to finish. We met back up the next morning to finish and I’ve decided that summer sunrise sessions might be my new favorite thing. Falls Park was completely empty, it was 20 degrees cooler, and no humidity. So, to all my other couples wanting portraits in the near future, sunrise might be a better choice for you too!
Katherine and Sam, thank you for your patience and flexibility with getting your session completed! I am in love with the results and can’t wait to capture your wedding day this October! Katherine said her goal with their photos was to showcase how in love and happy they are together. I think we definitely achieved that!
