Decorating Evelyn’s nursery was probably the most enjoyable part of being pregnant. I’ve mentioned before that we had a very stressful pregnancy, so I spent a lot of time finding all of the perfect details and doing crafts to keep my mind at ease. It’s my favorite room in our home, and just being in there makes me happy. Evy can’t tell me yet, but I think she feels the same way too.

I spent the last few weeks of my pregnancy making this wreath for our door at the hospital. We didn’t tell anyone her name and this was how we were going to announce it. However, we got so flustered when I went into labor that we forgot to bring it! At least we get to see it on her door now!
The stars are one of my favorite details in the room. It was NOT an easy task, and I’m not sure if I would do it again (not to mention: how we will get them off one day!?), but I think it makes the room extra special.
