Capturing a bride’s special day is always a privilege, but there was something uniquely magical about Caroline and Hunter’s wedding in April. From the moment I arrived at her childhood home, I could sense the deep connection she had with this place. It was where she’d dreamed of her wedding day for as long as she could remember.
Caroline’s preparations unfolded in the cozy, familiar rooms where she grew up, surrounded by the love of her family. The morning light streamed through the windows, casting a soft glow that perfectly matched the warmth of the day. Every detail, from her dress to the family heirlooms, seemed to tell a story of love and tradition.
The ceremony took place at a beautiful church that held a special place in Caroline’s heart. Not only was this the church she grew up in, but it was the very same place where her parents AND grandparents were married. As she walked down the aisle, surrounded by 300 of their closest friends and family, you could feel the history, the love, and the anticipation all coming together in a powerful moment.
After the vows were exchanged, we all made our way to the Cotton Loft for the reception. The space was filled with laughter, music, and the joy of dancing feet. Caroline and Hunter celebrated with an infectious energy that lit up the room. It made my job behind the lens an absolute joy.
This wedding was more than just an event; it was the culmination of Caroline’s lifelong dream, filled with love, tradition, and endless happiness. Capturing those memories was an honor I won’t soon forget.
