Engagement sessions are so important to my client experience because it’s an opportunity for us to get to know each other in-person before the wedding. Being in front of the camera of someone you just met can feel awkward and stressful, so I want to make sure we get rid of all those nerves before it’s time for the big day.

Maggie and Will are soft spoken and so sweet. They are perfect examples of how much power the engagement session has! I could tell they were a little timid about the process to start, but by the end of the day, they were naturals! It’s so fun to be able to pull those beautiful portraits out of my couples and prove that they are definitely not awkward (like so many of them tell me!).

Will went to Furman, so this was the perfect sentimental location for their portraits. Maggie and Will, I’m counting down the days until May! Enjoy some of my favorites from their Furman garden engagement session!
