With a bride named Lilly Rose, I expected to see some pretty flowers on her wedding day. But what Statice Florals put together was absolutely breathtaking! This wedding day was such a joy: so easy, smooth, well-planned, and of course beautiful. Lilly and Mark chose well for their vendor team and together they made this day an exceptional one to remember.

Summer weather can be unpredictable, and that’s just what we got on this day. Earlier in the day, we had sunny skies and sweltering heat, but right before the ceremony the skies turned super dark. Watching the radar, we knew rain was on the way. Right when Lilly started walking down the aisle, thunder clapped and we heard the bottom fall out. It was pouring outside! She and Mark decided not to do a First Look so my immediate thought was of concern for their portraits. However, I was totally shocked when they recessed after vows to find that the rain was completely gone and even starting to dry up. As quickly as that storm arrived, it found it’s way out! We were able to get all the beautiful portraits around the church and downtown before making our way into their Huguenot reception.
