There are wedding days that flow so seamlessly, you almost forget you’re working. From the moment I arrived at the Grand Holland Estate until the last dance, everything unfolded effortlessly. The overcast skies provided the dreamiest light for portraits, and not a single hiccup in the timeline. It was a photographer’s dream!
Alyssa and Clayton’s wedding party was a blast to work with. They were fun, supportive, and so genuinely excited to celebrate the couple. The love surrounding these two was palpable from the very beginning, and the joy only grew as the day went on.
This was actually the first time I’ve photographed a ceremony outside at the Grand Holland Estate, and I have to say it was stunning. The historic home made for the most elegant backdrop as guests gathered on the lawn. But what really stood out to me was the build-up to Alyssa’s grand entrance. Their large wedding party walked down the aisle one by one, setting the tone beautifully. Then, like a scene from a movie, a classic white Rolls Royce pulled up slowly. Alyssa stepped out with her dad, and the two of them began their walk. The air was thick with emotion. Even though Alyssa and Clayton had already shared a joyful and heartfelt first look, this moment got to him. Clayton couldn’t hold back shedding a few tears.
After a delicious dinner and meaningful toasts, the celebration kicked into high gear. The dance floor stayed packed all night long as family and friends surrounded Alyssa and Clayton with nonstop energy and love. It was the kind of night no one wanted to end. I left that evening with a full heart and a full camera roll, so grateful to have witnessed and documented such a perfect day.
