August weddings in the South always bring a little extra adventure, and Chanlan Ann and Christian embraced every second of it. Their wedding day began at a nearby rental house, where they spent the morning getting ready in separate spaces. Both bride and groom were surrounded by excitement from their favorite people, which was the perfect way to start the day. Once everyone was dressed and ready, the couple shared a private first look. After a few tears and hugs, we headed over to Green Valley Country Club for photos. We were able to take all their wedding party portraits under the country club’s front porch to avoid the heat and humidity!

Their ceremony took place at Berea First Baptist, the church Chanlan Ann grew up attending. The location made every moment feel especially meaningful and personal. Afterward, guests arrived at a breathtaking tented reception at Green Valley Country Club. The space was overflowing with classic white and blue florals, chinoiserie details, and timeless elegance at every turn. One of the sweetest moments of the evening was when their dog made a special appearance to visit his newlywed parents and sneak into a few portraits of his own.

Even with the intense August heat, the energy never slowed down. The dance floor stayed packed all night long as family and friends celebrated with nonstop joy and laughter. It was an honor being a part of their day and photographing these memories to cherish for many years to come!
