Jillian and I were friends when we were at Clemson together. We haven’t seen each other since our Tiger Town days, and I was so excited when I got an email from her about her upcoming wedding. She and her fiance Dan are getting married by the sea at the Omni Resort in Hilton Head, and I cannot wait to be a part of their day.
Since they make their home in Atlanta now, we decided to have their engagement photos done there. Atlanta has such a diverse scene and so many options for photos, so I relied on Jillian’s opinion for locations. She chose Krog Street and Piedmont Park, which turned out to be two amazing yet totally different looks. I wish we had more time to explore the Krog Street market because it was such a cool place! It reminded me of a modern version of the Boqueria in Barcelona where you can eat and drink your way through the place. Then, we walked down to the Krog Street tunnel, a graffiti landmark in Atlanta. I love that my clients are willing to step outside of just “pretty” locations for photos and use something a little more edgy. Of course, pretty locations are great too, so we traveled over to Piedmont Park to finish our time together. It was so great catching up with Jillian and seeing how happy she is with Dan. Their November wedding is sure to be one for the books, and I’m counting down the days until I can get these two back in front of my camera!
Next, an outfit change and over to Piedmont Park! There’s so many gorgeous spots around here, I could have stayed for hours!!
