The weekend before Jordan and Jamie’s wedding, South Carolina experienced torrential rain and heartbreaking floods. As I checked the 10 day forecast for their wedding week, it was sunshine for days. I even commented to Jordan’s mother about how lucky we were to escape the rain. Well, I’m sure you have all heard the saying “don’t count your chickens before they hatch”…those words couldn’t be truer. The weather changed almost overnight and we realized it would be raining all day on their wedding.
Most brides would be heartbroken, but Jordan was all smiles when I started photographing the day. The rain wasn’t going to stop her from marrying Jamie and enjoying every moment. I adore this couple for that reason, and capturing their wedding was such a joy. Best wishes Jordan and Jamie and I hope you enjoy reliving such a special day!
The rain stopped just long enough to get a few wedding party photos before the sun went down.
