Lauren and Jeremy were friends on Facebook before he got the courage to “poke” her. Yep, that old-school Facebook feature is how these two hit it off! I can totally relate to their story because my husband and I first communicated over Facebook too. Thank goodness we live in an age of social media, right!?
This past March, on a girls’ trip to New York City, Lauren and the group were walking around Central Park on their last day there. They stopped on Bow Bridge to take a few photos, and while everyone was distracting Lauren with posing, Jeremy snuck up behind her. She had no idea he would be there, so it was a true surprise! Then, he got down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. She said the tears were pouring at this point, and then to top it off, she saw her Mom walk up to surprise her too and share in this happy moment with them. Nicely done, Jeremy!! What a perfect proposal!
For their engagement session, we met up at Campbell’s Covered Bridge and then went over to a private property for some fishing and photos with Jeremy’s truck. Some guys can be timid about having their picture made, but Jeremy was such a pro! He made Lauren and I laugh the entire time, and loved on her so sweetly to get just the right smile and reaction from her. Guys, take note from this groom!
Lauren and Jeremy, I had the best time with you and cannot wait to be a part of your wedding in March!
Follow along for more of my life, recent work, and everything in between.
