I am so grateful for every referral that I get from past brides and consider the gesture to be a huge compliment, but there’s something extra special when one of my previous bride’s siblings contacts me about their own wedding. I photographed April and Dan’s Kiawah Island destination wedding last fall and then her sweet mother contacted me in June to see if I was avaiable for her other daughter’s wedding in July. Even though it was short notice and I had another out of town wedding that Saturday, we made it happen! I took the first flight out to Chicago on Sunday morning and then drove two hours to Plymouth, Indiana. Luckily, I didn’t have any delays and had just enough time for lunch before heading to the ceremony site. It was a whirlwind weekend, but another wonderful adventure in the JSP books. :)

Lindsey said she had always dreamed about getting married in a gazebo, and the setting at Swan Lake Resort was just perfect. Lindsey and Donovan, thank you for sharing your day with me and best wishes to you both!
