Maggie and Zach are high school sweethearts and have been together almost 7 years. Last Christmas, on the weekend before she was going to graduate, she and Zach went with her family to find a Christmas tree at one of the farms in Maggie Valley. As she was searching for the perfect one, Zach came around one of the trees on one knee and asked her to marry him. Maggie said Zach was excited that they could share this new tradition of picking out their Christmas tree every year at that farm and remember their proposal happened there too (my favorite part of their proposal story). What a sweet guy!!

For their engagement session, we drove up to Bald Rock which was showcasing the end of fall’s brightly colored leaves. Maggie and Zach immediately let their guards down for photos, and they were laughing and smiling the whole time. Their wedding day is still over a year away in December of 2018, but I’m already excited to see these two again as a bride and groom!
