Maggie and William met by chance in math class in college. Maggie said she was immediately drawn to William, but was in another relationship. After some encouragement from friends and a strategically-planned study date that both went to, they realized that they couldn’t deny their feelings for each other.

They considered having their ceremony at Pretty Place, but the logistics weren’t matching up with their plans, so we decided to use this beautiful location for their engagement session instead. I will say that Pretty Place is not an easy location to photograph. The chapel is in the shade and mountains are in the sun…two different exposures. It can also be foggy with no visibility of the views. Luckily, we had perfectly clear weather that day and with a little help from off-camera flash, we were able to get some gorgeous shots with the scenery!

Maggie and Will, you were made for each other. I loved spending the day with you in the mountains and can’t wait to photograph your wedding day in May. Enjoy some of my favorites from their Pretty Place engagement!
