Now that Samantha is a married woman, I can finally share her beautiful bridal portraits! We had planned a beach trip in late September with my husband’s family, so it worked out perfectly to have Sam’s bridal session while we were down at the coast. I’ve photographed lots of weddings in Charleston, but never had the opportunity to take my time just strolling around the streets for photos. We took our time finding the prettiest window boxes and gates to use for her portraits, and I can’t wait to do this kind of session again! Sam’s Mom and brother came along to keep her laughing and we all had such a great time.
I also have to give myself a pat on the back here…see her bouquet? I made it!! Sam texted me shortly before her session saying she didn’t have a bouquet. We were on our way into downtown, so we quickly pulled into a Whole Foods and bought several bunches of flowers. I think it turned out pretty nicely if I do say so for myself!!
Enjoy some of my favorite portraits from that day and check back soon for their gorgeous wedding at Alhambra Hall!
Follow along for more of my life, recent work, and everything in between.
