Sarah and Mike’s engagement session at Furman may be one of the most colorful I’ve had this year! We hit the jackpot with the leaves changing around campus, finding bright yellow gingko trees, orange oaks, red maples, purple mums, and crimson ivy. While it was pretty cold on this day, but Sarah and Mike didn’t let it phase them. What better reason to snuggle in close, right?

Mike and Sarah have some of the warmest personalities and it’s no wonder they are so attracted to one another. They met while working together at Greenville EMS, and knew it was something special when they had to work their first shift together. Sarah said it was the fastest 12 hours she’s ever worked! Mike was equally smitten and asked her on an official date when they clocked out that day. And so, their story began…then a year and a half later, Mike surprised Sarah with an early morning wakeup call from her dog and a romantic proposal at home.

I had so much fun photographing their engagement session and every time I leave them, I feel like I’ve just caught up with old friends. I’m so thankful that I can call them my NEW friends, and that I get to be a part of their Greek wedding next October. Enjoy some of my favorites from this engagement session at Furman!
