In February, I had the pleasure of photographing a stunning wedding at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church, followed by a reception at the Westin Poinsett Hotel.
The ceremony at St. George’s was a vision of beauty, with its grand architecture and soft winter light glowing through the stained glass. Greek ceremonies provide a unique opportunity for me to stand on the altar stage too, so I am able to focus on capturing every emotion as the couple exchanged vows, surrounded by loved ones. The night continued at the Westin Poinsett, where the reception was a celebration of elegance and love. The ballroom sparkled with candlelight, and every detail reflected the couple’s style and sophistication.
As the night drew to a close, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the opportunity to witness such a beautiful celebration. February weddings, even with their frosty temperatures, are a reminder that love knows no season and that every moment deserves to be cherished for a lifetime. Meghan and Pete, thank you for letting me be a part of your day and photograph these memories for you!
