Winter engagement sessions can be tricky because there’s typically no color in nature, the sky is usually overcast with no glowy light, and it’s FREEZING! I’m such a wimp in cold weather too, but I loved the challenge here. And as it turns out, I actually had a hard time picking favorites for their post because I seriously loved them all.

This couple is so special to me because it’s the third family wedding I’ve done for the Masons. Josh and Amanda were the first ones all the way back in 2011, then Lora and Seth last year, and now I get to photograph Kayla and Anthony. She even switched her dates based on my availability! That’s such a huge compliment, but working with this family three times over is what makes my heart so full!

Kayla and Anthony, thank you for trusting all of my location choices! I had the best time with you and think your matching dimples are the CUTEST. I cannot wait for your Charleston wedding this fall!
