I will take an overcast cloudy day over rain ANY time! I don’t want to jinx myself, but I feel like I’ve gotten pretty lucky with rain forecasts this year. Every session and wedding that has called for rain ended up being dry. All the vendors collectively heave a big sigh of relief when that happens! So much can change when weather isn’t on our side, from moving ceremony location to where to take portraits to flipping indoor spaces, but thankfully Mother Nature has given us some grace!

Samantha and Braxtin are so much fun and love to have a good time. We finished almost all their portraits before the ceremony, so they were able to join cocktail hour with guests. To keep the party going, they brought in an amazing DJ from their favorite college bar, the same place where Braxtin first said he loved her. We had the best day celebrating this new husband and wife, and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites! Samantha and Braxtin, thank you so much for your trust in my work!
