Alicia and Taylor met on the first day of medical school in July of 2014. Alicia said turned around in her seat on the first day and saw Taylor’s beautiful blue eyes and the rest is history! Last summer, they went on a trip up north to visit Alicia’s family in in Plymouth, MA. It was her grandmother’s 89th birthday and Taylor got the family together in the backyard for a “family picture.” To her surprise, he caught her completely off guard and got down on one knee asking her to be his wife.
She said he told her some of the sweetest words she had ever heard and gave her a ring more beautiful than my wildest dreams. To top it off, he bought a super cool ring box that had a tiny camera in it! So when he popped the question and opened the box, he also captured an up-close genuine reaction photo. I had never heard of such a thing, but thought it was the coolest addition to any proposal! If you Google “Alicia and Taylor proposal” you can see their awesome video!
We met in Falls Park for their engagement session and then hopped over to the medical campus, where they first met, to finish the day. I didn’t even know this campus existed, but gosh it was a beautiful building! I love when couples incorporate sentimental locations for their sessions. Using the exact room in their exact seats was the perfect choice!
Alicia and Taylor, I loved getting to know you better this day and can’t wait to capture your wedding next May! Enjoy graduation and all the exciting things coming this year!
