Sarah and Alex live in New York now, so they had friends and family come in from all over to celebrate their wedding day at the Poinsett Hotel in Greenville. I’m sure they all enjoyed our beloved downtown!

The ceremony and reception took place at the Poinsett, so while the guests were enjoying cocktail hour on the mezzanine, the staff flipped the space for dinner and we went outside for photos. It worked out so well, and the bonus was no one had to fight downtown traffic moving to a different location.

There were so many special moments throughout this day, but my favorite was their emotional First Look. Sarah and Alex, you are both so kind, warm, and classy and your wedding day was a perfect reflection of that.

I wish you both all the best and hope you enjoy reliving your beautiful wedding day! It was SUPER windy outside, so we opted to go inside for more photos with the wedding party before the ceremony. A quick gift exchange and then it was time to get married! I love that Alex’s dad is in this one getting emotional at seeing his son’s lovely bride too. How cute are those South Carolina cookies made by the Chocolate Moose?! Sarah’s mom told me they chose the wedding colors based off of the Poinsett Room. It was like this wedding was MADE for this room! The golds, light blue and antique blush roses beautifully matched this interior. Sarah and Alex had the BEST dance party! Their band, The Retreat based out of Atlanta, was one of the best bands I’ve ever heard.
