When Anna said that she wanted to have her bridals at the house they were remodeling, I had no idea what kind of treat I was in for. The house has actually been in her family for generations and is over 100 years old. She and her fiancé Alex, along with a lot of help from their family, have been working hard to bring the farm house back to its glory. And let me tell you, they did a stunning job! The blue-ceiling porches, the wood carved door frames, the original staircase…the craftsmanship is awesome. Joanna Gaines from Fixer Upper would be proud with all the gorgeous ORIGINAL white beadboard that Anna kept!
Not only is the house beautiful, but it sits on acres of farm land, and at the top of their road was one of the most gorgeous mountain views I have ever seen. But enough of the house and the land…let’s talk about how stunning the bride is! Anna customized her dress to fit the vision she had (it originally had sleeves), and it fit her so well. Her bridal look was made complete with a matching lace veil that she and her mother made from the leftover pieces of the dress. I had the best time photographing her portraits, and hope you all enjoy some of my favorites.
Teaser: Anna and Alex also got ready for their wedding here, so stay tuned for more of those photos coming soon!
