I was impressed with Alli from the first moment meeting her. She was finishing nursing school while working another job AND planning a wedding through it all. She said she would work her night shifts, sleep in the morning, then get ready for her other job in the afternoon. That’s dedication! So, when Covid hit and everyone was in a panic for what to do with their wedding, I knew that Alli would have a plan. With the help of Jennifer Dennis from Love this Little City, they switched venues in order to accommodate their guests with more outdoor space for social distancing. This could have been a risky move since their wedding was in late August (hello, summer humidity!), but we were blessed with the most beautiful day and a perfect cool breeze that lasted all day long.

I think sometimes life’s unexpected turns come together with the best resolve. Alli and Nick, your day was perfect and it was such a joy to photograph! Thank you for letting me capture these moments for you. I hope you enjoy looking through some of my favorites here.

This will go down as one of the longest and fiercest fight for the bouquet I have ever experienced! These ladies were determined!!
