What happens in Vegas doesn’t ALWAYS stay in Vegas! The story of how Katie and Matt met is my absolute favorite. Both were in Vegas on respective bachelor/bachelorette parties with friends! They met and hit it off, and even though they were living across the country, they managed to make their relationship work. Katie’s dad said during his speech that he jokingly told Katie to not run off and get married when she went on this Vegas bachelorette trip, but turns out she didn’t listen too well! Jokes aside, Katie and Matt found their perfect match with each other and even being long distance couldn’t keep them apart. It was a beautiful celebration for this cross-country romance!

Despite having a wet forecast for their Avenue wedding, we ended up finding several pockets of portrait time without any rain. We even got sunset rooftop shots, which are my favorites of the day. Everything went so smoothly with the help from Katie Williams Events, and what a gorgeous wedding it turned out to be! Enjoy looking through my favorites from this Avenue wedding.

Father/daughter first looks are my favorite! I just love her dad’s reaction.                That wind in her veil though! It blew at the perfect moment.                        Oh Katie, you are absolutely stunning!                          It was pouring rain at this point, so we were all thankful for Avenue’s gorgeous lobby to finish up portraits. Rain or shine, this location gets beautiful natural light!          Katie’s dress was made for twirling like this! She nailed it!
