The weeks and days leading up to a wedding can be stressful, but everything fell into place on the day that Chelsea and Trey got married. Aside from a bridal shoe mishap (super glue saved the day!), I cannot recall a single moment that wasn’t beautiful, fun, and full of love.

Chelsea and Trey met while in college at Furman, but didn’t begin their relationship until an accidental phone call after graduation. These two have been inseparable since, and it was only appropriate to start their marriage where they met years ago. We started they day by getting ready at the Cherrydale House, followed by the ceremony at Daniel Chapel, and to round out their list of beautiful venues, the reception was held at the iconic Poinsett Hotel in downtown Greenville.

It was such a pleasure photographing this joyful couple. Chelsea and Trey, thank you for choosing me and I wish you so much happiness in your lives together!
It’s official. Cherrydale House is my new favorite bridal prep location. How gorgeous is this window light!?These next 10 minutes were so special. One of Chelsea’s bridesmaids brought in a mirror and she was able to see herself as a bride for the first time. Tears filled her eyes as she realized how close we were to the ceremony! Then, we brought in her Daddy, which led to more happy tears and hugs. And finally, she debuted her look to all of her girls, who ooohed and ahhed over how gorgeous their friend looked. Chelsea…you are THE cutest!!Right after the ceremony, we walked out of the chapel and across the street for their first portraits as husband and wife while the family and wedding party recessed. I LOVE this time for photos! The excitement is high, the bride and groom are full of emotions, and the happiness is pure.
