There’s nothing quite like the peaceful beauty of a sunrise engagement session, and Alyssa and Clayton’s shoot at Daniel Island Park was the perfect example. With the soft morning light filtering through the moss-draped oaks and the peaceful stillness of the Lowcountry waking up, we had the perfect setting to capture their love story.

Alyssa and Clayton adore the coast and travel here whenever they can, so it made perfect sense to showcase this special place in their engagement photos. Choosing a sunrise session wasn’t just about the dreamy golden glow—it was also a smart decision to beat the heat and humidity of a Southern summer. And let me tell you, it was worth the early wake-up call!

From the moment we started, their joy and connection were effortless. Their sweet pup joined in on the fun, adding even more personality to the session. Whether strolling along the water’s edge or sharing quiet moments under the towering oak trees, Alyssa and Clayton’s love for each other shone through in every frame.

I had the absolute best time getting to know them and can’t wait to capture their wedding day at Grand Holland Estate in March. If their engagement session was any indication, their big day is going to be nothing short of incredible!
