There’s something magical about capturing a wedding ceremony at Glassy Chapel. Being perched high on a mountain, the breathtaking views of the Upstate are something that’s not found at any other wedding venue nearby. We were blessed with perfect overcast skies, creating a diffused light that was ideal for photos. The hint of baby blue peeking through the clouds beautifully complemented their color palette too.

The panoramic views, combined with the tender moments, made for some of the most memorable shots of the day. As a fellow photographer, Jenna understood the importance of capturing these moments. We made sure to have ample time carved out for portraits. We explored the stunning mountain backdrop, taking full advantage of the soft, even light that graced the day.

After the ceremony, the celebration moved to the historic Westin Poinsett in downtown Greenville, a venue that exudes classic elegance. The grandeur of the hotel, paired with Jenna and John’s vibrant energy, set the stage for an unforgettable reception. Guests danced the night away under the chandeliers, creating a perfect contrast between the timeless charm of the venue and the lively spirit of the evening.

As a photographer, days like this are a dream. The blend of stunning locations, perfect weather, and a couple radiating happiness made for a truly remarkable wedding day. I’m grateful to have been part of such a special celebration, capturing memories that will last a lifetime.
