Elizabeth had a clear vision for her engagement session with incorporating downtown architecture, some rooftop portraits, and their classy attire. While it would have been a dream come true for her to use the Poinsett Hotel’s rooftop (that liberty is given only to couples who are getting married there), we made new plans to encompass what she wanted. The alley and area around the Westin complemented their black formal attire, then we walked to Grace Church for a different look, and we finished the session on top of the parking garage to get some of the downtown skyline in as they popped some champagne.
She was so excited during the session as we worked through posing and the different locations, saying it was exactly what she wanted in her photos. She reaffirmed those encouraging words when the gallery was delivered! Being able to make my couples dream photos come true, and gaining their trust throughout the process is what the engagement session is all about. I can’t wait to give Elizabeth and Wyatt more beautiful portraits on their wedding day in April at Avenue!
