I am so thankful that I get to work with couples like Emily and Chip: laid back, fun, and so adorable together! Let’s focus on the laid back part for a minute… see, we had scheduled our session in Clemson for the beginning of June. With unpredictable summer storms, we got rained out, but Emily and Chip were understanding and had no problem with rescheduling. So, when our new session date came, I double checked the forecast and saw that we may have showers again, but it wouldn’t hit us in Clemson until after we were done. Well, sometimes the radar isn’t 100% right. We were just finishing photos in the stadium when our guide told us we had a massive storm hitting us soon. There were even sirens going off on campus! We got to our cars just in time before the clouds opened up and it started flooding. Again, Emily and Chip were so calm and patient as we waited out the hail, lighting, and torrential downpour. Fifteen minutes later, we had blue skies again and were able to finish up the day (even if that did mean it was SUPER humid now). Still, they kept smiling through it all, loving on each other, and making the most of it.

This sweet couple is getting married in January, so fingers crossed that it’s a bit cooler than the day of their engagement photos. :) Emily and Chip, thank you for being so easy to work with, for your patience, and for rolling with the punches that day! I hope you enjoy the photos we made together! Chip, I must say, you did a great job picking out Emily’s ring! Emily’s new last name is Buchanan, so it seemed fitting to get the “B” in their photos too.Right before the storm hit!
