During Courtney and Hunter’s ceremony at Grace Church, the pastor said Courtney exuded joy. He said he never saw her NOT smiling and her laughter lights up a room. If you saw me in the balcony, you would have seen me nodding and saying “yesss!” to this!

Courtney is someone that feels like an instant friend and sees the best in everything. It’s easy to see why Hunter fell in love with her! As with most guys, Hunter is not a fan for having photos taken, but with Courtney by his side we got to see a lot of his true smile. I have loved every minute working with these two!

I actually met Courtney at Emily and Nathan’s wedding in 2019. Then, we were together again for Hunter’s sister’s wedding last fall. And now it was her turn to be the JSP bride! At the reception, I told all three brides to call me when they start having babies. Of course, I know none of them are ready to start growing their families quite yet, so I was only half-kidding…I just can’t wait to work with all of them again!

Once Hunter and Courtney had driven off after their sparkler exit, I was able to catch Hunter’s mom, Leslie, and express my gratitude for letting me be a part of both weddings for her children. She said I was like family to them. We both teared up and hugged. That right there is what brings it all home for me. Sharing joy and love with people who start as strangers to me, but grow to feel like family. Truly thankful for this career and the happiness it brings to my life.

The new lights on Trade Street in Greer are so much fun for night portraits! Courtney said that’s what sold her on the venue because she knew I would love them. She was right! And I love HER for thinking that way!                    My beautiful JSP brides!! So thankful for each one of you!!
