Lately, I have had a lot of microweddings book with just a few weeks to go before the big day! Sometimes that means I have two weddings in one weekend, but honestly, I LOVE smaller weddings and jump at the chance to do them! I didn’t get to meet Jessica and Stephen before their Hotel Domestique wedding, but they welcomed me in with such kindness. Jessica said that her day was flawless and had zero stress, everything she hoped for. All things you wish for your couple to have! Stephen was so joyful, funny, and absolutely smitten with his bride. They joined to become a beautiful blended family, and it was such an honor to document.
With smaller weddings, I get to focus on photographing my favorite parts of the day: details, portraits, ceremony, and family formals. Receptions for microweddings are usually long sit-down dinners, so coverage isn’t required for that. Hotel Domestique was the perfect backdrop for Jessica and Stephen to share their vows, followed by a delicious dinner at Restaurant 17. I loved being their photographer, and hope you enjoy some of my favorites from their day.
