Katie and Michael’s ceremony in the heart of downtown Greenville was the best way to kick off spring wedding season. We had picture perfect weather, a stunning and FUN bridal party, and a fantastic team of vendors to help make their wedding day dreams come true. We started at the Hampton Inn on River Street, located right across from Wyche Pavilion. Katie sat in the makeup chair in front of a huge window and was able to watch the pavilion transform with chairs and florals into where she would soon say her vows. It was so neat!

Katie teared up several times throughout getting ready, and I could empathize with her emotions. I was the exact same way at my own wedding: happy tears, anxious tears, hopeful tears, “this is it!!” tears. It’s such a special day that you’ll always remember, and I knew exactly how she was feeling.

While the bridesmaids changed into their dresses, I popped over to Michael’s room to deliver a gift from his bride.
This was just the sweetest! Katie is a teacher and invited the girls in her class to the ceremony. She gave them each a pink carnation to thank them for being there. It was precious seeing them all smile, point, and run for hugs when they saw the-new-Mrs. Lee come back around the corner!

After their ceremony, we had some extra time to walk through downtown because their reception was scheduled for later. Without a First Look, I don’t usually get that much time with the wedding party, but I LOVED being able to get so much variety with this group!
