Nick and Katie met in a meet-cute fashion at the annual Cooper River Bridge Run in Charleston…although neither were running the race! They hit it off, had drinks together that evening, and two weeks later, they had their first date in Greenville. Things went so well that Katie stayed in Greenville the entire weekend, and even met his parents then too. The initial spark wasn’t a fluke; these two were a true match!
After two years of dating, Nick and Katie were making a big step in their relationship by purchasing a house together. On the weekend of their closing day, Nick and Katie took their families by to see their soon-to-be home before they officially got the keys. While Katie thought they were posing for a photo in front of the new house, she turned to see that Nick had gotten down on one knee. He had an engraved key fob for her new set of house keys that said “Marry Me?” and of course, the engagement ring of her dreams! It was such a surprise, and the perfect way to start their lives together.
We met in Simpsonville’s River Walk for their engagement session, and I had such a great time getting to know these two. I can’t wait for their wedding next May!
