I didn’t get to meet Katie and Wes before their wedding at the Reserve at Lake Keowee, but I was so honored with how candid they were with their emotions. Wes pulled me aside at the reception to gush over how much he loved his bride. He was truly in awe of how beautiful she looked and got teary watching her. Not many grooms will wear their heart on their sleeve with me like that, but I appreciate his immediate trust.

The day before their wedding it was pouring buckets, but we were blessed with a gorgeous fall day with perfect blue skies on the day of their wedding. After a sweet First Look, we brought in their intimate wedding party and finished portraits before the ceremony. The reception took place on the lawn overlooking the views of the lake, and the night finished with a special surprise for their guests.

Katie and Wes, thank you welcoming me with open arms and allowing me to be a part of this special day. Enjoy looking through some of my favorites from their wedding!
That single tear…brings ME to tears!! Katie, you were such a stunning bride!! Gotta love a petal toss photo…this one is my favorite! The sun was almost set over the mountains, so I pulled Katie and Wes away after their First Dances for a few last portraits. They were so blissfully happy! Y’all!! Fireworks!! It was like Disney came up with an amazing show for Katie and Wes’s guests.
