It happens fairly often that I get new inquiries from the mother of the bride instead of directly from the couple, mainly because wedding planning is a huge task and the extra help is needed. That was the case with Laura and Mark. Since she is living in Columbia getting her masters and he works in Clinton, I had the chance to meet with just her parents to discuss their wedding photography. Surprisingly enough, I actually discovered that I grew up across the street from Laura’s grandmother and my little sister was on the swim team with her. I know Greenville is a small city, but it’s crazy how I find so many connections with my couples!
When I finally had the chance to meet Laura at their engagement session, I immediately recognized her face from all those hot summer days spent at the Botany Woods pool when we were just kids. Only now, she stood before me as a beautiful and confident woman with an adoring fiance by her side.
Laura and Mark, it was a pleasure getting to know you more and I can’t wait for your wedding in June!
Follow along for more of my life, recent work, and everything in between.
