Morgan & Collin: Wedding at Old Cigar Warehouse

Filed in: Weddings

Morgan and Collin’s wedding day was all about their family and friends. She’s from SC and he’s from Texas, so they had people coming in from ALL over to celebrate their big day. Morgan and her girls got ready at a friend’s house, then we all headed over to Falls Park to meet up with the guys. I’m so glad they chose to have a First Look, because that meant they got to spend the entire wedding day together and with all of their friends rather than avoiding seeing each other. It really does make the day more fun for everyone!

We also experienced all kinds of weather that day: cloudy to full sun, windy then hot, and of course, a summer rain storm right before their grand exit. Mother Nature always keeps me on my toes! Thankfully, their ceremony and reception all took place at Old Cigar Warehouse, so we were able to take a lot more portraits with the extra time we saved from traveling between locations.

Morgan and Collin, thank you so much for having me capture your first day as husband and wife. As individuals, you are both kind, gracious and not to mention good-looking, so I know that you’re going to have an amazing life TOGETHER. I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from the day!Since their wedding was on the same day as a Drive baseball game, we knew there was a chance to catch the fireworks show. It was getting late in the night, the reception music was loud, and everyone was on the dance floor. Something told me to check outside to see if the game was over. Sure enough, right when I stepped out onto the deck, I heard them make an announcement for the fireworks show! I ran back downstairs, pulled Morgan and Collin off the dance floor, and excitedly told them, “We have fireworks!!” We rushed upstairs and they were able to take a minute to enjoy this special treat on their wedding day!
