Melanie and Tim picked the perfect date for their Old Cigar Warehouse wedding. I can say that because it was MY anniversary too! November 16 has once again proven to be the best day ever. The falls leaves were at their peak, the weather was warm and sunny with a bit of briskness in the air, and what better way to start the holiday season than with a wedding??

I know I preach on this a lot, but I’m SO thankful that I have trusting brides. We created Melanie and Tim’s wedding timeline to allow for a LOT of portrait opportunities. We completed all of their wedding party and family photos before the ceremony, so we were even able to take advantage of the glowy sunset light for more photos of the newlyweds. Brides, if you want portraits like Melanie and Tim got, make it a priority in your timeline!

Melanie, you were the MOST joyful bride and it was such a pleasure capturing that! And Tim, I love that you showed your soft side…it was obvious how captivated you were with your bride! This was such a beautiful day and I hope you enjoy viewing some of my favorites from this Old Cigar Warehouse wedding.

Melanie’s grandmother knit this shawl for her, as she did for each of the other granddaughters. It was so intricate! What a precious and priceless family heirloom gift. Thankful for this wedding party security team that helped keep the bridge private for the few moments during their First Look. They were so sweet and doting on their friends all day! Look at how joyful she is! I just love her! And that golden orange tree was the best fall backdrop.
